Why Standard Plastic?

CR-39 is the official name for the commonly used plastic material that is used to make glasses. It is widely used because it provides relatively high optical clarity compared to polycarbonate lenses. If you have a mild prescription, we recommend using this lens.

Why Tinted Lenses?

Tinting clear lenses is the traditional process for creating sunglasses lenses that will reduce brightness. Besides reducing brightness another benefit of tinted sun lenses is that you will not encounter any issues using cell phones or other devices, which sometimes occurs with polarized lenses.
