Why Standard Plastic?

CR-39 is the official name for the commonly used plastic material that is used to make glasses. It is widely used because it provides relatively high optical clarity compared to polycarbonate lenses. If you have a mild prescription, we recommend using this lens.

Why Polarized Lenses?

Any dark sunglass lens will reduce brightness but only a polarized sunglass lens will reduce glare & brightness. Traditional sunglass lenses are tinted in order to darken a lens but a polarized lens is actually two clear lenses smooshed together with a polarizing film in the center. Polarized lenses make for optimal sunglasses.
